Ein später "erster Newsletter", der mit einer Meldung aus dem Jahr 2025 beginnt: Das endete nämlich brillant, weil Moderator Jo Schück in Aspekte mein aktuelles Buch "Das Ende der Dominanz" in die Kamera hielt. Die Sendung handelte von Machtmissbrauch im Kulturbetrieb. Ich war gleichermaßen überrascht und begeistert und ich bin zutiefst dankbar für diese starke Unterstützung. So konnte ich das alte Jahr mit Leichtigkeit hinter mir lassen und elegant in das neue Jahr springen. Was uns zurück in die Gegenwart bringt!
Meine Ausstellung in Zürich ist verlängert bis Ende Mai und Galeristin Sophie Bien veranstaltet dazu eine Finissage, über die noch zu berichten sein wird. Danach heißt es durchatmen und auf zur Art Basel: Dort zeigt Sophie einige meiner Arbeiten auf der VOLTA, vom 17.-21.6.2026 – die Ausstellungsfläche für „emerging arts and fostering cutting-edge creativity“. Ich bin total gespannt und freue mich auf den Kunstbetrieb in dieser kunstsinnigen Stadt.
Der Sommer wird uns dann nach Lugano treiben, wie es aussieht. Noch ist das alles neu und hochinteressant für mich, ich freue mich über die Zugänge und die großartige Sichtbarkeit. Und ich würde mich freuen, wenn wir uns dabei an einem der Orte persönlich begegnen!
All diejenigen, die weder Kunst daheim noch bei mir oder auf den letzten Metern in der Ausstellung an der Limmat sehen können, aus welchen guten Gründen auch immer, müssen unweigerlich mit diesem eklatanten Mangel an Schönheit leben. A late "first newsletter" that begins with a report from the year 2025: That ended brilliantly, because Jo Schück presented my current book "The End of Dominance" during the famous broadcast aspekte. The show was about power abuse in the cultural industry. I was equally surprised and thrilled, and I am deeply grateful for this strong support. So I was able to leave the old year behind with ease and jump elegantly into the new year. That brings us back to the present!
My exhibition in Zurich has been extended until the end of May, and gallery owner Sophie Bien is hosting a finissage, which will be reported on later. Take a breath and then head to ArtBasel: There Sophie will be showing some of my works at VOLTA, from 17-21 June 2026 – the exhibition space for "emerging arts and fostering cutting-edge creativity". I'm really excited and looking forward to the art scene in this art-loving city.
Summer will drive us to Lugano, it seems. Everything is still new and very interesting for me, I'm excited about the new additions and the great visibility. And I would be thrilled if we could meet in person at one of the locations! It would be a pleasure.
